Vitalik: More optimistic about open source AI models with editing capabilities.
Odaily News Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, stated that rather than pursuing an AI that is as "autonomous" as possible, it is better to create more pathways for human input. This will not only improve output quality over a longer period but is also more beneficial for safety. He mentioned that he is currently more interested in open source AI models with good editing capabilities rather than models generated from scratch. In the medium term, he hopes for the emergence of advanced brain-machine interface technology that can display content in real-time during the generation process and sense user emotions to adjust dynamically.
